I love to work with people with learning disabilities; they are, just like children, honest and direct. We can all learn so much about this, why make life complicated. We should be honest, direct and like children, trusting in people around us. If we all are open to be vulnerable I think the world would be a better place. We need each other and to ask for help is to be strong, not weak.

The responsible path of a human life, perhaps, is to understand one’s self, to heal that self, then to let go one’s attachment to that self.   Understanding our drives and emotions, our beliefs and reasonings, our heritage and ancestry, language and culture, all guide us to know why behave as we do, and how we can then live as more caring, co-operative, rational people, free of desires.  It is a life’s work, but throughthe process we can become and remain responsible human beings, avoiding the many pitfalls of selfishness, our every momentbeing worthwhile within the human and non-human world.

If we are able to face death having released our attachment to the self, we are able to die in peace.  To do so is an invaluable offering of peace to all those who have loved us, and to the earth that has supported us.  Furthermore, inso doing, our essence can return to the whole, dissipating within nature in perfect freedom.  To be ready to die, everyday, is to live in peace.

In simple terms: get over yourself.

Perceiving the world as mind and matter, and using language that affirms the difference, are simply tools of human culture.  Nature, the universe, in its actuality, is a minded essence, wakeful, vibrant and beyond understanding.   Through stillnesswe cangrasp the limitations of human perception, and glimpse the wholeness of nature as nature is in itself.  Such glimpses are glimpses of god, and aid us in the journey of detaching from the self. 

It is a life’s work, but there are first steps: in wakefulness we can learn to discern when we lose the self into shared human experience, and in meditation we can learn to release the self into the earth on which we sit, the wind, the river, the mist.

In simple terms: god is nature perceived by nature.

When we live with the understanding that all nature is sentient, every plant and animal, stone and river, wakeful to its environment, responding within its ecosystem, within its own fabric of relationships, then we live understanding that there are no ‘things’.  Every part of nature is divine.  Every being deserves respect.  Our task is to learn how to live in a world that is all sacred.  The key isperhaps to understand the difference between what we need and what we desire, and to learn how to fulfill our needs, wakeful and responsible for the consequences of our every action.

I follow the path of love as was propagated by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu who was a contemporary of Guru Nanak. He lived most of his life in Jagannath Prui in Orissa and there is a belief that Sri Guru Nanak and Caitanya Mahaprabh met there. His main teaching is to chant (in japa) the name of Krishna, who is the supreme object of love. We follow the teachings of Krishna in Bhagavad Gita and of Bhagavat Purana as explained by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His followers. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu said that by doing japa of Krishna’s name while avoiding offenses, one cannot attain love.

Our meditation is the japa of the Names of Krishna. We do it every day in the morning for 2-3 hours, and then during the day time we try to remain focused on the Name of God.

Our environment is part of God, therefore to pollute or exploit it, is working against God. If we remember this , then we will not create disturbance in the environment.

A Detail of your meditation story or tradition :  As an Anglican priest I have a duty for the spiritual and social welfare of all who live, work and visit the 4 villages for which I have the “cure of souls”. I therefore accept all who cross the thresholds of our churches and all who approach me and wish to engage with any aspect of our ministry. My greatest desire is that we become a spiritual community which loves without judgement: a safe place for others to explore their spiritual journeys and be resourced.

Something to do in your bed that can help you

Many religions throughout the world practice each day being in a state of peace when their souls rise to meet God ( Or whatever word you use to describe the journey of the soul )

 

Physical Posture

 

Relax and liedown flat on your back.

 

Head  - The neck is relaxed , long and the chin is perpendicular to the ground

 

Hands - The hands are relaxed and open facing the sky so the heart meridian in the centre of the palm is open. 

 

Arms - The arms are at a 45 degree angle.

 

Feet- Relax the feet to open outwards ( be observant of relaxing both feet equally ). In some yoga practices the heels are touching but follow your yoga teachers instruction as there are many variations of corpse pose.

 

Eyes - Eyes are relaxed 

 

Mouth

When the mind relaxes, the tongue and palette become spacious, the roof of the mouth lifts and hollows and the central core of the body opens.

 

Mental Posture 

 

Are you ready for your final moments in this earthly body ? In what position are you likely to do it in?

 

In yoga at the end of each session we practice Shavasana which is known as corps pose. 

The name comes from the Sanskrit words Shava (शव, Śava) meaning "corpse",[3] and Asana (आसन, Āsana) meaning "posture" or "seat "

 

As a Yogi our practice is learning how to die Consciously in divinity.

 It is the posture of practicing relaxation and awareness in death or the ultimate letting go.

“…every day, a little ‘bit dying.”  “not waking, not sleeping.”- Pattabhi Jois

 

" the middle space between sleep and effort." Or " the inherent emptiness in the present moment."

It is very observant yet detached. A Tranquil mindfulness.

 

Meditation

 

There are many meditations in corpse pose here are some examples:

1: observe the breath and be in peace

2 : observe the mind or body and be in peace

3 : listen to the body and the environment outside the body - and be in peace

4 : feel the air and the difference between the texture of the air and the solidness of the body.

5. Meditate upon how it may feel for a soul to leave a body.

( Sat - True and perfect  Nam - the name or identity of God, every soul and substance and view is God ) The idea is by saying or remembering the mantra or words 'Sat Nam ' means we are contented that everything is true and perfect like God is.

We believe that cooking from simple unprocessed organic pure ingredients is a way of healing our earth and health. 

 

Super Easy Tomato Sauce ( From The " Food not Bombs cook book " )

 

In a pan sauté garlic and onions in a small amount of oil. Add the spices available such as oregano, basil ,thyme, bay leaf, rosemary and so on.

Add freshly chopped tomatoes.

If you like include vegetables like carrots , beetroot , green peppers ,  broccoli and so forth.

Stir often until all the vegetables are soft and the sauce becomes thick.

Serve over flat bread, rice or use as base of a vegetable stew or even as a dip for potato chips ...

Ginger Citrus Rice

 

2 tablespoons ghee 

2 tablespoons fresh ginger root, minced 

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 

4 cups of water 

2 cups basmati rice 

2 teaspoons salt 

1 large lime

 

 

In saucepan over medium heat, heat ghee until very hot. Add ginger root and ground cumin and cook for 1 minute. Add 4 cups water and bring to a boil. Stir in rice and salt. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 15 to 18 minutes until all water is absorbed and rice is tender. Stir in lime juice and offer hot.

Gnocchi ( potato pasta )

 

  • boil floury potatoes until soft
  • Mash them and add half the weight in flour
  • Add the some herbs and natural salt 
  • Rub your hands in a little oil ( it helps prevent sticking )
  • Merge together by hand kneading the dough.
  • Divide dough into long snake strips and slice into Gnocchi shape ( 2cm pieces )
  • Place in boiling water until they float.
  • Add to sauce immediately, garnish and serve...

Or

  • You could make a herby vegetable stir fry to go with anything... 
  • Perhaps..Pour the sauce over a salad or baked potato...

 

Potatoes : are very absorbent and is a traditional medicine for nourishing the body and removing poisons.

Pure Wheat Flour : The food of saints. In all ancient medicine books they are listed as one of the finest remedies for just about everything ! Intolerances to it are considered by master Ayurvedics a signal that the body is out of balance with the earth element. A remedy is to introduce her gently and kindly. One suggestion is to sprinkle her into dishes to thicken the sauce.

 

 

Cheap Onion Soup for 8

8 onions

3oz Oil

1 tablespoon rice Flour

Salt and pepper

1 teaspoon of sugar or local sweetener 

2 quarts of water

 

Cut the onions and fry well in oil.

Mix the rice flour smoothly with water.

Add the onions , seasoning and sugar and simmer until tender.

Thicken with flour if necessary

A healthy diet of fresh produce prepared with love is greatly sustaining and nourishing.

 

 

Breast pumping by hand is a meditation - it is also healthier for mother and baby. Chant as you hand pump. A woman's arc line goes from nipple to nipple. Hand milking is self-healing for the mother. Question what a woman priorities are that could prevent her from hand pumping. Does she care for her baby ?

 

 

 

 

Breast Massage

There are various Ayurvedic breast massage techniques. The best techniques i have seen with diagrams were printed in Ayurvedic beauty books. Gita Iyengar in her yoga book for women contains wonderful yogic breast and womb health for this time.

 

Breast Posture

Good posture can completely heal and uplift breasts. In everything you do from walking and sitting open your heart ( chest out, chin in think nipple heart beam to the sky ) . Lifting your boobs to the sky is mood uplifting and the physical position of opening your heart actually helps us love better and increases circulation in the area for good health.Notice that when many people are happy they have a posture of an open heart. Milk produced by a happy heart makes for a happier baby.

 

Breast Skin

 

Be Concious of what you rub into your skin. Many Yoginis live by the rule if you wouldn't eat it - why would your skin ?

Explore home made moisturisers from pure oils or aloe Vera plants ( easy to grow at home and cut a leaf when needed)

There are many natural soaps available. The most natural one I know of being Ritha or Soapnuts or soapwort root or plant. Simply add the plant to water and shake or froth for soap suds. Some people add them to a dispenser for ease of use.You can find both of these online to purchase. It's also very economical as a bag can last months. Babies have sensitive taste buds - most prefer natural tastes.

 

Armpit care

 

Deodorants : 

Many women don't use deodorant when they follow a health eating program and lifestyle as bodily smells decrease.

Some Natural deodorants to protect the naturalness of milk :

 

Citronella - good for very sweaty people. A lovely drying plant which smells truly lovely.

Potato - helpfully absorbs heat and smells. Cut a Potato in half and rub under arm.

Radish - cut and rub as above 

Turnip - ditto 

Bay leaf - drying and lovely smelling.

Crystal deodorants - these are commonly available online and can last a lifetime. In sweltering middle eastern desert heats this is many women's top choice !

Lemon - my friend in hot weather loves this.

Godpo ( Sour Orange ) This fruit is roasted in the embers of a wood fire. Cool them and pierce a hole at the tip. Squeeze juice out and apply as under-arm deodorant ( This is used is very hot weather 

Guava Bud - apply under arm.

 

 

Armpit Hair :

 

It is there for a reason ! 

The three nervous systems meet under the armpit. I and a few other Yoginis found that by leaving our hair long our nervous anxiety decreased. This may be because the hair is the bodies protector and an extension of the nervous system. Long hair or hair tips pick up on information , energy or stimulai and relay the information to the brain. Our brain computes this information and tells us what to do and how to behave. Extra time and a whole, complete nervous system that includes hair is essentially very helpful for health and happiness.

 

 

Milk Storage

In natural vessels - explore wood , hand blown glass , stone , copper

,gold and iron.

By yogis and naturalists baby milk is considered sacred. They do not put it in the fridge or freezer as they feel the vibration of the electrical factory imprints the milk. Instead during hot weather they store their milk in natural containers. Natural Fridges in India are made from clay and mud. There is also some storage that goes on beneath ground like a cold cellar.

 

 

Exercise

 

Swing your arms when you walk. Simply being Concious of equal and supple arm swinging in an ordinary walk is very healthy for the breasts circulation.

Reach for the sky ! everyday most people can find a good reason to lift their arms in the air. For example does something high up need dusting or could a 30 second hand wave with both arms up be your sign of gratitude to the universe that you and your baby are living ?

To me ,  the natural fresh version of vitamins makes much more common sense….  generally if we eat a fresh varied healthy diet you never need to worry about vitamins supplements.

 

The natural fresh version is healthier and more potent as well as being more honestly priced….

 

And ... It didn't take a pollution factory to manufacture fruits and vegetables ….

 

Anyway I'd rather have a fresh as nature made it vitamin C orange than a pill .... ( no matter what the box says about cramming 100 years old chemically mixed orange that smells of pills rather than an oranges into a plastic pill pack )…..

 

Common sense is in our senses for example our noses tell us what was good to swallow and what was not - which option smells logically healthier ?

They also have the most wonderful aroma which is written in Ayurveda to be an aphrodisiac so carrying one is a natural perfume of the finest kind. The Ancient Egyptians, mostly the pharaohs and high priests chewed cardamom to whiten their teeth and sweeten their breath. Cardamon is also a digestive aid so chewing on Cardamon aftera meal helps to digest your food.

Basil : Chew on a leaf and feel how refreshed your mouth feels. It really clears any smell away. Chewing on a leaf is also a natural immune system supplement or support. Cheap Onion Soup for 8

8 onions

3oz Oil

1 tablespoon rice Flour

Salt and pepper

1 teaspoon of sugar or local sweetener such as apples or dried fruits

2 quarts of water

 

Cut the onions and fry well in oil.

Mix the rice flour smoothly with water.

Add the onions , seasoning and sugar and simmer until tender.

Thicken with flour if necessary.

Economical Peels Stew with old Chapattis or stale bread :

 

After washing vegetables and chopping them for other dishes

Save all the vegetable peelings :

 

Onion peels

Carrot peels

Potato peels

Garlic skins

And experiment with any other scraps left over. 

 

Put them in a large pot a boil for a few hours on a fire.

Strain with a cotton cloth.

The liquid left is a delicious vegetable soup and stock.

Season with natural salt , pepper and and spices you have..

 

Tear up old hard Chapattis into small pieces and add to the soup.

If you have oil add that , in not it doesn't matter....

Warm over a fire until the Chapattis small pieces are soft and really mixed into the soup.

Basic Cleaning Kit

 

Natural Soap - such as Soap nuts (Rita ) to wash your cotton cleaning cloths with and use as a cleaning solution. ( UK and USA Equivalent is soapwort which can grow in most gardens see online for details)

Add these natural soap plants to water and stir around for super cleaning bubbles.

 

Earth or Sand for dish washing. ( Wood Fire Ash is also helpful and very hygienic as it is sterile ) sand is easily collected from river edges and beaches.  (Some people do buy it form building merchants.) Any soil serves the  purpose - simply pick out any stones. Earth or sand is used to clean all kitchen pots and pans.

Step 1 : rinse plate / vessel

Step 2 : scrub gently with ash or soil or sand to remove all dirt.

Step 3 : rise again.

Step 4 : dry carefully.

I know a Nihang who has a Sabloh bucket ! ( very natural and Eco- friendly )

In the olden days wooden buckets were used. It is still possible to find a good handmade wooden bucket.

Bathroom :

Treat light stains on a bath or sink by rubbing them with a cut lemon dipped in salt.

 

Clothes Washing

Ideally by hand with soap plants.

However many people put Soapnuts and soapwort in their washing machines.

 

Cow dung is a great disinfectant. In India and England people still wash rooms with cow dung to disinfect rooms and yards.

 

How it is done : A handful or two of cow manure diluted in a bucket of water is used to wash the floor, and can also be used to plaster walls. It contains antibiotics and is a powerful disinfectant. People would come to eat at my friends House, and once they had finished, the floor space where their plate and glass had been standing would be wetted and scrubbed by hand to reactivate the medical qualities of the cow dung, or would have a fresh application of water and manure applied. The floors throughout the ashram would be washed with the solution everyday, and if there was a shortage of cow dung then the Kitchen and the Chula, (the structure of bricks plastered with cow dung, on which we cooked), had first priority.

 

Corn flour ;

To remove grease from wallpaper - apply a paste of corn flour and water. When it is dry brush it off. .

Treat a fresh oil or grease stain on unholstery by sprinkling corn flour on it . Rub it gently and leave it untill the stain is absorbed. Brush it off and wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

 

Onion :

To clean an oil painting, cut a large onion in two and clean gently. When the onion becomes dirty cut a slice and continue cleaning with a fresh side.

 

Tea ;

Clean varnished wallpaper by wiping over the surface with a cloth wrung out in cold tea.

Tea for Cleaning Woodwork it also and enhances the wood colour ! Good for removing fingermarks.

As a dye restore cream coloured fabric to a natural colour by soaking it in strong hot tea. Add a pinch of salt to keep the colour fast.

 

Pumice or Sand :

Clean cork (bathroom floors, yoga mats, pin boards , place mats etc) by wetting the surface and rubbing with pumice stone or simply with sand in a circular motioon with your hand.

 

Salt :

To prevent Mildew from forming on shower curtains soak them in salt water before hanging.

 

Laundry Tips:

Use Soap nuts or Soap wort flowers instead of chemical detergents (The clean very well and smell lovely ) (Easy to buy online)

A rind of a lemon in the wash water helps retain colour and acts as a natural softener.

Add some herbs into the wash for a lovely smell.

It is more eco friendly to use a washing line - on cold days if it looks like the clothes might freeze rinse them in salt water to prevent that.

DIY homemade Toothpaste naturally gentle enough to swallow:

( Some commercial toothpastes are tested on animals - save an animals life by choosing a naturally safe option. )

 

How to do it

Tooth powders : Put your mixture of powder of natural ingredients in a pot.

 

1. Wet toothbrush

2. Put a bit of powder in your palm and dip the brush in. ( Even better if your toothbrush is natural like a miswak or neem stick )

3. Brush and rinse.

 

Make up a toothpowder mixture from any of the following :

( Essentially just one ingredient is needed )

 

Preparation Time: 5 minutes for months of toothpaste.

Many herbs come ready powdered. It's more potent and effective to grind your own in a pestle and mortar which takes minutes.

Godpo ( Sour Orange ) This fruit is roasted in the embers of a wood fire. Cool them pierce hole at the tip. Squeeze juice out and apply as under-arm deodorant ( This is used is very hot weather in the Caribbean )

Guava Bud - apply under arm.

Lovage deodorant : boil  lovage leaves or root in a pan. Simmer for 5 minutes. Cool and store in a clean Jar. To use soak a cotton cloth or cotton wool in the deodorising liquid. 

Benefits Of

It is a good deed to be Eco-friendly. Going natural also means that you have not polluted our earth with the pollution of factory production nor disposed of deodorants non-biodegradable packaging.

Buzzzzzzz - ouch - Aaah - Natural Insect Solutions

As It's kinder karma to not kill living beings or to spray chemicals on our skin , in the air or on our sacred land.Here are some natural solutions:

Mosquitos and Midges : lavender , garlic , rosemary , neem , black pepper , citronella grass ( decorate interior or exterior spaces with them. ) You can also add them to your bath water , or make a water solution to dab on the skin. As these herbs smell great it's like wearing a helpful perfume :)

Ants : To help send them to their more natural home sprinkle any one of the following :

Turmeric powder , lemon juice , cloves , cucumber peels , cinnamon , garlic , black pepper , basil or Chilli.

Spiders : Spiders should really be living outside happily in their natural habitat. Wise wives would spread fresh conkers around the house which look beautiful. Spiders are said not to like the smell so don't enter the house. A cleaning water solution of any of the following is written to be helpful : peppermint , lavender ( remember to be gentle , a tiny suggestion to help move them back into nature is all that is needed ). Citrus peels left in likely corners is a deterrent as is generally keeping your home very tidy and clean.  Cedar wood chips or wardrobe hangings also are helpful.

Flies : hang, decorate  or wash surfaces with basil , lavender , rosemary or citronella grass. Wipe areas clean with salt water ( use natural salt ), crushed mint or  tulsi. Growing these plants in your garden or window box is wonderfully helpful.

Moths : cedar wood and lemon peels

Aphids ( and Mildew): an infusion of Chives

Slugs : ( for Gardeners and campers ) copper wire around a garden or store produce in copper or in iron pots. Oak leaves . Sea weed . Salt , grapefruit chopped up , Garlic . Spreading soot or coal around a Lettuce bed is successful for some.

Mice : freshly ground black pepper , mint and rosemary sprigs left in strategic places. Being immaculately tidy and storing everything very neatly also works.

A water infusion of Daisy's...( A foragers favourite as they are free and grow wild )

Soothing insect Bites rashes and irritation

Basil - Rub her into a bite for relief.

A Water infusion compress of elderflower or cold  rose tea. 

A Cold compress of lavender or Bathe a in water infusion of fennel.

Bath in oats ( fill a muslin bag with oats and soak ). Oats draw poisons out of the skin. An oat bath is a traditional remedy for poison ivy and can sooth a bitten body.

Papaya is anti- inflammatory and reduces redness and swelling

Lavender soothes irritation. Make a water infusion to soak a cloth in and apply

Alternative Amazingness - In ancient medicine all ailments are thought to stem from karma.

If they had a sore throat some spiritual explorers might meditate or do good deeds to pay for the karma of that ailment as a way of healing.

 Natural Sore Throat Remedies : 

Gargle with sea salt or natural rock salt water ( avoid chemical white salt)

Soak 3-4 cloves in water overnight and drink in the morning. Gargle first before swallowing. ( A Yogi Bhajan remedy for viruses ). Cloves are also a natural anti-biotic.

* 1/2 a small tea spoon of thick turmeric paste to form a ball. Put it in the back of your throat or swallow with water. ( Cook turmeric for 8 minutes or more ). This is more recommended for conditions with mucus / phlegm. 

Liquorish tea or chew on a liquorish stick ( liquorish sticks also make great natural toothbrushes and breath freshens ) Liquorish is mucus forming so most helpful for dry conditions * Sage tea (sage leaves to steep in warm water are easily found in the spice section ). Sage is like a saintly sage doctor. It is called sage for this reason....

Rub Almond , sesame oil or Ghee into your neck. It works as the external heat stimulates the glands and increases circulation and blood flow. People wear a scarf for this reason. A cotton scarf is best. Yogi Bhajan said the most warming clothing in the Himalayan snow is cotton. He recommended quilted cotton.

Green Chilli ( eat raw for best effects - thinly sliced on any dish is palatable by all ) Green Chilli is also rich in Vitamin C.

A happy dog is a healthy dog. When nursing dogs, children or adults humour , happiness and the art of distraction can be miraculous. It's all about what we put our focus on. For example if a Dog has a pain in his knee if you help him focus his attention on another sensation like being stroked or smelling something or playing his " sickness " may disappear......it's all relative....

The art of attention shifting for behavioural rehabilitation also works. An example maybe unreasonable ( anger ) barking  at small dogs which you could focus pull towards playing with something loveable instead .

We can all train and exercises our minds in this way for helpful healing and pain relief.  Generally dogs are good at healing themselves and giving signals as to what they need. We just have to listen.

Wheatgrass -  helps in digestion and can also help prevent tumours from forming in the digestive tract.

Cinnamon - An anti-inflammatory, cinnamon is soothing for senior dogs with arthritis or stiffness. Just a small sprinkle.

Turmeric - For internal healing, blood and bone health. Just a small amount which should be cooked.

Ginger -  In small amounts, ginger can help prevent heart disease, colitis, bronchitis, nausea, and inflammation problems like arthritis.

Neem : For Diabetes and any kind of cancer. It is also is wonderful as a skin wash for any coat conditions.

Dog Beds : Dogs are sensitive. Consider that their natural environment is natural. Dogs seem to be happier and healthier in natural dog beds such a quilted cotton which is so easy to wash. Leads and other items ; These should be made from natural materials such as cotton, hemp, nettle or jute rope.

Dog Toys : Does your dog really need toys if his life is interesting and active ? Ponder upon what a dog really likes if he's in the wild. Natural entertainment may help your dog feel and be more intelligent.

Water Bowl :  a wild dog or wolf enjoys water from springs of clean streams and rivers. You could try to emulate that by giving your dog a natural stone water bowl. Natural Headache Healing

He also said " When you take Tylenol, it doesn’t mean that your headache is gone. Headache is there, cause is there, but the feeling of that headache is gone." Luckily he shared many ways to help headaches go away and truly disappear.

Food and Drink

Fresh Ginger Tea : Ayurvedic texts recommended ginger tea for a woman's pain relief. Ginger Increases circulation and relieves nausea which may accompany a migraine.

Almond Milk - magnesium relaxes the blood vessels. Almonds have long been a cure for tension , headaches and blood purification. Traditionally Almond milk is made naturally in a stone pestle and mortar .Try to find almonds with their shells still on as the almonds are more pure and powerful. .Yogi Bhajan also suggested mixing almonds into a paste with saliva by chewing well had a similar effect.

Cooked Lettuce - for relaxing a tension headache warmed lettuce is one of the most powerful natural relaxants and sleeping aids. Caesar was said to be cured from epilepsy (which can include nervous system headaches)  from romaine lettuce.

Calcium and Potassium :Potassium rich fruits such as Watermelon and peaches are known to relieve headaches. Calcium rich foods are well documented to relive headaches : examples of calcium rich foods include green leafy vegetables such as spinach, mustard leaves and sesame seeds.

Topically

You can also topically apply a paste . Traditional headache reliving pastes include , ginger , black pepper , sage leaf  and rose petal. It is far better to make your own rather than buy something like Narayan oil or Tiger balm. The fastest to make is ginger as you can splice it open in your fingers. If your skin is sensitive wrap it in cotton.

You will never have trouble with Headaches if you can do this.  It means you are young and you will survive.

Cat pose is meant for your creative energy and to get rid of headaches.

Bowing easy pose Sit in easy pose. Bend forward, touch forehead to floor, then come sitting back up,  This is very good for circulation. It is the best face lift.  And it avoids Headaches.

Lie down Chin to the chest Posture for Headaches:  Lie down on your back.  Raise your head off the floor and do long, deep breathing for 1-3 minutes.

Meditation for headaches ( See yogamint.com for a video) Meditation for Headaches, especially migraines.  Sit in easy pose, raise your arms up overhead, & spread them out to a 60 degree angle.  Hands are in giaan mudra.  Close your eyes, and look to the hairline. Hold the posture with normal breathing for at least 11 min. Then relax the hands down onto the knees and chant in a monotone, "We are the love" for 1-2 min.  Comments: Pain in the back & behind the shoulders is a sign of poor blood circulation.
